They act like GSP is Ivan Drago. Does Anderson go through what GSP does? I doubt it. Is he greater than GSP, you can bet your ass he is. Maybe they need to change their methods, rather than looking at the glass half empty.

Great analysis on the fallacy if "cleaning out a division" and the toll that competing at this level for extended periods of time can have on even the best athletes.

Well from what I understood it's more of a personal life matter than a physical one, which is always good to hear. If GSP eventually feels like he's had enough, he can always retire and come back later for another run.

You compare GSP with a movie hero lol,GSP is for real and I can imagine how hard he is training for the fights, and dont forget he is fighting more than 10 years...

Been hearing this for awhile that GSP only has a few fights left in him before he walks away.

Way to take only a small piece and twist it into a small unrelated argument about Anderson Silva

Firas' still happy he still got Rory if GSP retires. The gravy train isn't stopping anytime soon.

He is just like Ivan Drago, according to Nick Diaz press conf. My opinion, is the same as Diaz and training with those cycles takes its toll on the body.

Mark McGuire, A-Rod and other users of Steroids( allegedly) fall apart at a certain point. Is that GSPs case? I think so....

The steroids that make you the most ripped, Winstrol for example dry out your abs but also your ligaments and tendons.

That said personally I don't think GSP is on Winstrol.

GSP has Hendricks, the winner of Maia/Ellenberger and then probably one more guy at WW before he hangs it up. I do not think the Superfight with Silva with happen due to the size discrepancy, so no point in discussing that.

Not to nitpick, but Drago was the villain not the hero hehe

Body is getting beat up but it's also mentally exhausting. Anderson is a more laid back character and that helps with longevity because he has more of a balance. GSP is more wound up, intense character and goes to extremes....that wears on you after a while. You could tell how refreshed he was after the forced year off....but two fights back to back and the tension ramped back up quick.

Also Firaz might be foreshadowing the Anderson fight. If GSP ever does fight Anderson and wins, I think he retires. You can only go downhill from there.

I want to bite so hard on this troll post, but, I can't.

It was leaked that this fight may be coming after the Hendricks bout

Great post :icon_lol: Thing is that GSP is not as naturally gifted as AS can be.

Anderson is like Michael Jordan, a rare oddity you see once every 10-20 years.
