I think they'll put Faber on the card as a potential Conor opponent in case Aldo gets injured. Maybe they'll put Jacare or Romero on too for the same reason, but that seems like it might be TOO stacked.

Who could Faber face? A featherweight or bantamweight? It could be anyone I guess

Not sure but I would have to think Frankie Edgar will be on the card. If the whole card fell apart as long as Conor fights someone, you are looking at 500K+ ppv buys. Plus the UFC owes it to the fans traveling from Ireland

I would definitely have Frankie in the card, in case Aldo or Conor gets hurt
And I would keep Jacare for the same reason.

All other fights are of no-consequence (this would be a killer card anyway)!

I think that the UFC is checking to see which events to book

Romero/Souza (rumored UFC 193?)
Werdum/Velasquez II (UFC 195?)
JDS/Overeem

Unlikely, but possible that JDS/Overeem would be on UFC 194, more likely co-featured on the UFC on Fox 17 event (RDA/Cerrone) or UFC 195. Could also be on the Fox 18 event if the hold it in January as they have done the past three years.

pettis vs nate might not be that likely... but i think pettis could get onto this card too since he said he'll be able to fight then.
