I've illustrated my own tattoos over the years, and had the artists in the shop bring them to life. I have been thinking about incorporating Liston or Tyson or both into something but I'm also in a place in life where my artistic side and self-indulgent spending habits have both been shelved for caring for loved ones, so I guess I'll never do that... Either way, congrats on your tattoo, I would have gone the detailed route myself, but I've taken the minimal route for some of my stuff too, guess it depends on what you want for each piece.

I’ve been looking into getting a Mao Zedong tattoo to channel my two personal heroes. Mao Zedong and Mike Tyson.

Have you smoked some of Joe Rogan's weed right before you got that tattoo by any chance? It looks ugly as hell.

It's a style of artwork, very popular actually.

Well I figure if Froch turns out to be a nonce or I get sick of him, I can get the name on the trunks changed and tell people it's someone else and no one will know the difference. Probably get it covered up to say Wilder or Tyson.

Not everyone wants to drop in a shop, and pay some artist 2500$ to imagine up some sleeve based off some vague description of things they just thought up off top of head to justify an arm full of imagery they have no connection with except that they wanted to fit in when they bought a Harley Sportster to take to bars in outfits they bought off the mannequin during a crisis trying to recapture youth they didn't have during highschool.

I appreciate the art of tattoos...personally I chose to be tattoo free, but it looks pretty cool on a lot of people. However, this tattoo up there looks just plain ugly.

Yo mama jokes... I thought that died somewhen in the 1990s.

Well said. Pay no mind to these uncultured fucks, the only art they know is when their mind draws a blank.

I always wanted tattoos haven't gotten to it yet but I'll have a sleeve in the next two/three years. Late to the game tho but I always thought tattoos are the shit. I was talking to a tatted up nurse before my surgery once last year and she and her husband would get tats wherever they vacationed, it was cool af.

I have a cpl brands which I got as a younger man and a drunker man, and so many scars I can't count. I don't care about permanent shit, I'm just lazy. I know when if I get one tho, I'm getting the whole arm done.

    It's certainly an interesting choice.
To be honest, I didn't like it at first but the more that I look at it the more that I appreciate the old-school style of it. And although it's not a picture-perfect rendition of Froch it's unmistakably him. So, congrats. It's cool.

Just like the arms...It looks like Froch likes unilateral exercises, but forgets to train the other side.

Also I would have added a flat earth right beneath, in order to emphasize the intelligence of Carl Froch.
