I've wanted Conor to lose for as long as he's been in the UFC, and for all the reasons you'd expect: he was arrogant, disrespectful of his UFC elders, and of course because of his fans, but now that he's lost and his fans are back on planet earth, I can really admire what he's been able to do. He's changed the game, become it's #1 star and it's most highly paid athlete. All the top fighters are talking about him, imitating him or want to fight him. Sure he's eating some of his words now but he's laughing all the way to the bank, and I believe he's still the guy fans wants to see most. And the fact is, he's still the FW champ and one of the top p4p guys in the org. I respect what he's accomplished in a short time and hope he comes back to fight soon and often, and I may be rooting for him in his next fight for the first time. I think if he trains with Diaz bros or another top camp he can be a champ or top contender for a long time. I like how he handles defeat, much better than any fighter I can think of at the moment, and I think he's teachable and wants to improve and come back better than ever. Come back soon Conor, we'll be waiting and watching.

Hurt my eyes trying to read this, then tapped out.

good luck with that ts. Enjoy your hype train! ...oh wait it was derailed! lolz!

This has to be a record for threads started by nut huggers pretending they were haters

Why do people heap praise on him for not acting like a douche after a loss? Does he get bonus points for acting like a normal human?

After watching MMA for over a decade, I became a fan of Conor after the Brimage fight. I don't mind the talk, it's just selling a fight BUT… Somewhere along the line [Probably just after he KO'd Aldo] I really started to dislike Conor. Perhaps a lot of it was his deluded fans. They disrespected guys like Anderson, BJ and others with their noob nonsense. Conor said some bogus things as well… That being said, he's won me over again. He was all class in his loss, and I can't blame him for a lot of his idiot fans.

Lol, straight emo responses. I see the mourning process is still taking place.

you're a good reasonable poster, i'm glad i didn't stick you on ignore ;)

He's still da best at 145. Moving up 170 lbs was reckless, i hope he learned from this mistake and comeback stronger than ever.
Oh and he should change the camp, it's greatly admirable that he's very faithful to his teams back in Ireland but if he's seriously want to be the world champion at 2 weight-division, he need to training with someone that can be the world champion at 2 weight-divisions, or masters that have trained legendary fighters with that caliber, training with someone who he has already surpassed, won't exceeding his known ability.
This is a real world, you can't have everything, you must make a sacrifice in order to achieve your greatest goal.
I wish him all da best, still a fan of the dude.

I hope this doesnt stop future would be superfights in the UFC. I think it would be awesome for a champion vs. champion. I think Conor can beat Nate with the right game plan. Not really even a game plan just dont fight like an idiot.

We don't want you, TS. If you haven't been on since the start, you're worthless.

Lol you've only been on this site for like a month...

Regardless even if you were part of the OG Conor pack, you should go join the rest of the exhiled bunch... Most of you Conor trolls lost all your credibility on this site lol.

Tell you what, admit you were just another casualty of excessive UFC propaganda BUT youre ready to be a serious MMA fan now and we might let you chill here bruv

I think Nate makes it look easier with a decent training camp.
