These are the same people that voted Pacquiao into office... That's troubling. Let's be honest, Pacquiao doesn't belong anywhere near politics. Not because of his recent statements about homosexuals, but because he's not very smart or educated. Now, you could make an argument that he would make a perfect politician because of his lack of intelligence. He might be easier to manipulate.

But I just think it's an embarrassment for the country to have some like Pacquiao in office.

Believe it or not, being for or against homosexuality is not actually a question of intelligence. Lots of people in the states, from all walks of life, supported gay rights but not gay marriage, for example.
