What do you think about it, would that be more credible to
determine who is actually better fighter ?
Do you think current UFC champions would still take the belt
in a no round fight ?

No it wouldn't help determine who the better fighter is.One mistake could determine the result much easier than now.

Now with a round ending a fighter gets the chance to regroup and show if he was better than that round.

No imagine a boring fight going on for 1 hours+ we all be asleep by the comain event.

If I have to watch Mousasi in a fight with no rounds I'll scratch my eyes out

Bjj style fighters would dominate under conditions like that. They'd just stall until the other person gets tired and then proceed to break limbs and choke people.

Werdum, Jones, Rockhold, Cruz, MM and Tate would still have titles. Robbie, RDA, McGregor, and JJ would be SOL imo.

It would change the entire fight process. You'd see a much heavier grappling approach to fights.

Vice versa. If you shorten the rounds to say 5 three minute rounds you'd see way more KO's because natural strikers would take more risks knowing they wouldn't get trapped on the ground for a third of the fight if they mess up.

Jones doesn't have a title.

Your argument supports RDA retaining. Tate loses when she fights Ronda/ BJJ fighter.

7 rounds interests me, but unlimited rounds are a bad idea. Gracie vs Saku was set up that way and took 90 minutes.

I guess your right about Jones. I think Tate is the best grappler in WBW and will actually best Ronda when they fight again

It could work for title fights only. To determine best of the best. Only fighter with stronger will, character and skill will prevail.

Fights have rounds since like forever ???? Stop tripping. Rounds are needed. i would want rounds to fight. if you don't go kill yourself in a street fight

there are guys like gay jesus that probably couldnt stand up for six minutes yet alone fight

Ye fighters doing nothing for nearly 5 mins then stealing the round with an irrelevant takedown seconds before the bell is a much better way to determine who the better fighter is

Yes, the only way to determine the true better fighter and the true outcome of a fight is to have no break in the action as well as no help or interference by surroundings like a cage wall. Ideally you would have no rounds, no time limit and a very large open field to contest fights however none of that is realistic in a business model. Imagine how many fights were altered drastically changing their outcome by the round ending or someone being stood up from dominant position.

How about fights with no squares?

The rounds and time limits were created for the spectators. With no time limits you would definatley see a grappling heavy fight, but the fans would hate it. Really, that was the point of the 'new UFC'....to implement things like rounds and stand ups to make it more marketable.
