Fights Where You Were Seriously Concerned For A Fighter

What fights were you seriously concerned for a fighter at any point for any reason?
Maybe too much bleeding or twitching after a knockout?

I remember when Demian Maia subbed Rick Story I was pretty concerned about Story because of how much blood was coming out of his nose. It was kind of hard to watch.
I was also concerned about Lauzon in his recent fight with Miller.

 

Machida vs Jones. The way Jones dropped Machida when he was unconcious after the standing choke, I thought for sure Machida either:

A. hit his head way to hard on the way down causing brain damage
B. Bent/broke a leg like Cro Cop vs Gonzaga

Honorable Mention: Shane Carwin vs Frank Mir. Each replay it seemed like an editor was playing a cruel joke and adding more mounted punches to Mir's head.

Just wondering TS, why were you fearful for Lauzon? I understand there was a lot of blood but was there something else?

I don't care for Joe Warren at all, but when Curran started to beat him down I went from excited to happy to being scared he was going to be beat to death on cable TV in a matter of seconds.

 

Yoshida after getting Ko'd twice by Koscheck.

Pete Sell after his ko's and getting fucked up in that Brown fight.

I also think Gary Goodridge has about five more years to live.

 

I was seriously concerned for Shogun when he took that brutal beating from Jon Jones.

It was difficult to watch that fight. Shogun took a devastating beating.

 

JDS during UFC 155 against Cain. esp after that 1st rnd beating
Machida vs Jones. the way Machida was dropped
Etim after he was KO'ed by Barboza. The way he went stiff right after the kick
Shogun after that beating from Jon Jones
Joe Lauzon vs Jim Miller. Too much blood. i thought i even saw J-Lau looking like wiping the floor with his blood while he was being pulled by Miller i think

 

Maldanaldo, Anytime wand or Fedor got knocked out, Big nog when his arm got broken, Miesha Tate when her arm got broken, Saki Vs Reem(arm), Bigfoot when cain stuck him like a pig.

But this takes the cake:

munoz when he was out for 20minutes after the hamill fight and duffee after eating that brutal hammerfist

 

Maldonado vs Glover.

 

Faber vs Mazugaki (sp). he was out for a bit before the ref noticed.

 

this was the first face i thought of. i kept picturing aldo punching that thing and it exploding.

 

arona vs Saku-saku had a huge lump on his forehead afterword

I still cringe but can't look away from fedor nog III
