Too bad Machida never showed this sort of GnP ever again.

Never really wanted to go to the ground either... I blame the marketing for Machida Karate. I think they focused too much on pushing the "product" and the goal was to keep it standing... ALWAYS.

Remember, Machida subbed Sokodjou and was no slouch in BJJ. I'm a Karate man myself but Lyoto should have grappled more.

Watching this for the first time was definately the biggest oh shit moment I ever seen.
I think everyone watching it at the time also had the same thought.
The only person to remain calm was the one about to get dropped on his head.

i agree. but i also think Tyson Fury rising from the grave like a fucking zombie and then coming back to even rock Wilder was one of the most insane moments in boxing history to me. it was just the culmination of a great HW fight in my opinion.

It was a roller coaster of a fight! Can't wait for round 2!!
