Not all retarded statements are evil. I don't expect smart analysis of anything unrelated to his profession from him, but finding that someone's moral compass is so out of whack should give us pause about anyone.
I think there's plenty of evidence before this. The homophobia has been clesr, the viciously anti-establishment stances are so extreme as to effectively constitute a moral position. To believe that you alone are in possession of true knowledge and that the entire scientific enterprise is an expression of evil - this isn't just a different opinion. It says something about how someone like Bryce sees himself and the world around him. He'll spout some bullshit about how God loves everyone but if scrutinized at all, his world view pretty clearly differentiates between himself plus other narrowly defined believers and the greater mass of sinful, evil humanity.
Give a moron like this an audience through podcasting, let his videos attempting to "disprove" gravity get a couple of views and lo and behold, even more anti-establishment bullshit rooted in the belief that everyone else is lying and evil. That history needs to be retold in a way that better aligns with one interpretation of tbe Bible and a bunch of like minded youtubers pontifications.
