From what I heard Kaolan didnt take his post-stadium career very seriously and was drinking and smoking during his preparation. People use the word dive too loosely though, a lot of these semi retired guys will do great until it hits a point where they think "Im too old for this" and dont bother to get up. Remember when old fat Jomthong almost won the giant Kunlun tournament? lol I was watching that at like 5am laughing my ass off.

No, but that can happen even in fake fights. By fake fights I do not necessarily mean that both fighters conclude before the fight how it will end. By fake fights I meant fights when one of the fighters did not gave 100%, or faked a KO or a knockdown to loose the fight. Bob Sapp declared several times that he was there for the show, not for the win. He earned more money from advertisement than from the fights.

Yeah, after getting seriously injured in a couple of his losses. The fight with Cro Cop has been speculated to be one of the turning points in his career. Within a couple of years he started to find a soft spot on the canvas in virtually every fight.

That that fight with Kraus wasn’t a fix, Kraus rattled Kaolan early and went for the kill before there was a chance to recover. K-1 set up that tournament for Masato to win, not Kraus.

Hope this lasts because its a very important topic to bring to light

by simply putting an athlete in the ring that has no intention of winning they definitely "fix fights" but actual pre arranged works are pretty rare

If you offered me the same purse to win, lose or draw against Mike Tyson I'm definitely not going to try to shock the world

When I started this thread i meant Kickboxing and Muay Thai fight not MMA or Boxing fight as those are already getting the great amount of attention .
