Immediately Hendo vs Bisping comes to mind.
    10-8 Hendo
    10-9 Hendo
    10-9 Bisping
    10-9 Bisping
    10-9 Bising
    47-47 Draw

Same with Whittaker vs Romero 2. I don't remember the round breakdowns but I had Whittaker winning 3 rounds but I definitely gave Romero a 10-8 (arguments can be made that he got 2 10-8 rounds but that's another discussion) and with another 10-9. I scored it a Draw.

    Any other examples?

Yeah, Romero - Whittaker 2 indeed should've been a draw.

The Romero fanboys on sherdog however will argue that their favourite fighter was robbed, which doesn't really make sense.

EDIT: I don't blame anyone who says ROmero has won that fight, although i see it different, but to call a fight that close a robbery just doesn't make any sense to me.

I think both fighters should have been awarded a loss for that one.

Agreed. I actually bet on that fight. I had beast by KO. So he won the fight but cost me my parlay. DC/Lewis by KO. Was close to 9-1 odds. $1000 to win just under $9K and close to $10K for total payout. I was pissed.

I disagree with TS about Hendo - Bisping; I thought Henderson won both fights.

    I nominate:
    Condit - Lawler
    Hughes - Serra

Michael Johnson vs Stevie Ray is a good recent example

First two rounds were clearly MJ, and Stevie won the 3rd round 10-8 by having MJ's back for the entire round.

Romero isn't my favourite fighter; I just think he edged out Whittaker in that fight. Why doesn't that make sense?

Romero - Costa strikes me (no pun intended) as a much better candidate for a draw.

I think a lot of fights should be draws. Narrowly stealing a round isn’t winning a fight imo. But I get why they try to choose. It sucks for the fans and the rankings when no one wins

I wish all close decisions were just decided as draws. If there's not a clear cut winner, just call if a draw. What's the point in a five round fight of debating who may have landed a few more insignificant strikes in the first round?

It's all good, i don't think there's much wrong in scoring it for Romero, despite myself thinking Whittaker edged it, but a fight that close just isn't a robbery, no matter to whom the win will be given.

..for that reason i also think that Judges should give more draws to fights that close.

I don't know I feel like Francis deserves the L more. Derrick would take one step forward and he would take 3 back.

Shogun vs Hendo is definitely my number one.

Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei 1 is way too close, I was lucky enough to watch it live and everyone was booing and screaming "bullshit bullshit" when Rich was announced the winner, so I was a bit biased (and drunk) at first, but after rewatcing it at home a few times, I still have trouble giving it anything other than a draw.

Agreed. It's easy to say people should have perspective about records and understand the variables in decision wins and losses, but it's not happening. So it's crazy to think how much careers can be altered by someone subjectively "edging" a fight in the eyes of 2 random judges.

On topic, Gilbert Melendez-Diego Sanchez. I don't know if the 3rd round was technically a 10-8 by the book, but it just doesn't make sense that you drop the other guy and take his back at the end of a 3-round fight and lose on points.
