So I was thinking about Wand vs Vitor and how much of a war it could have been young Vitor & Silva, but it ended before it could begin?

Any other fights that could have been a war but ended to quick?

Edit: Forgot to include Leben vs Wanderlei aswell.

Steve Bosse vs Thiago Santos recently.

It ended in the 2nd but I really wanted to see it go the distance. That fight was really exciting. Then again you said COULD have been. It already was...

Definitely Faber Vs. Barao 2. The fight was stopped in the first round because Barao hit Faber's arm really quickly, which somehow makes it appear more convincing and damaging to people.

I think Hendricks/Kampmann could have been a war if Hendricks didn't land that bomb. Kampmann should come out of retirement to fight post-venison diet Hendricks.

Belfort vs Anderson is a rematch I always wanted to see as I felt like that kick deprived me of seeing the fight the first time round. It was just starting to get fun then bam!

Hendo/Shogun 2. Shogun was fucked up but he got up from much worse than that in their 1st fight and I like how Josh Rosenthal let dudes recover and fight. This may not've been a war but Ronda VS McMann was stopped VERY prematurely.

Hendo vs Fedor was looking like an all out war until the quick stoppage. Somebody was going to get knocked out at some point.

The JOsh Barnett vs Frank Mir fight was supposed to be a grappling battle of wits or at least a "see who is the least worst grappler in a kickboxing match" fight.

Ah well. Josh smaks Mir with a big knee, wins. I was happy with the outcome.
