Gsp, Jones and Anderson are a combined 15-1 against all time greats. Kind of impressive don't you think?

certainly, what's perhaps more impressive is that GSP is accountable for a little under half of those wins (although he's also accountable for the only loss)

If you use a mathematical algorithm that rewards long win streaks and doesn't take strength of competition into account, that's probably the sort of list you'd get. I'd guess their algorithm is something like that, given that they have Paulo Filho on there. I'm surprised Antonio McKee didn't make it...

This isn't a bad list, all of the fights were when they where considered at the top of their division. In that context not bad, rampage won 5 of those fights and lost 5 of those fights, Pretty interesting list.

BJ's career is rife with elite opponents. Most, above his weight class.

Marquardt is too high, Jones is too low.

Or rather the opposite since the list is upside down...

rethink what you said, at the time, guys like Filho, Marquardt, Barnett, Fitch etc... had been a minimum top 15 in their divisions for extended periods of time. The quality of opposition is missing in some of their opponents, but its not like they haven't had any big names at all, nor is it like they weren't dominant

Paulo Filho himself has had a succesful career both at MW and LHW and he is considered by many to be the unnoficial Pride 2007 MW GP champ, as well as the former WEC champ
make no mistake, before drugs and the face tatoo, Paulo Filho was considered by many to be one of the top in the world

this list is ordered bottom to top (easiest way to read it off), but the first six guys (Tito, Shields, Cro Cop, Sherk, Filho and Torres) are no longer on the list
