Actually, they're not unpopular opinions, it's just that they have such annoying and ravid fan bases that people are scared to talk negatively about them.
The Diaz Bros are the biggest mystery in MMA. The most entitled, and spoiled brats tpe attitude, but beloved and thought of as "gangsters", and almost never got called out for it, and never get the same type of criticism for it, like others would get.
For example. Woodley is literally doing what Nick Diaz would do, but not nearly as bad, and not nearly as often, and AFTER becoming the champ. Basically, waiting until he becomes the champ, and in a position to make certain demands, and openly speaking about wanting money and popular fights, whereas Nick hasn't beaten a single top 5 fighter in the UFC, and demands this that and the 3rd, and hasn't gotten even 1/4th the hate Woodley got.
I think it's because he was always an outsider, and just a social retard, and since 90% of his fanbase can relate to that, they let him slide. Whereas Woodley came from just as disadvantaged iof a situation as them, and acts like a responsible grown up, that doesn't act like a 15 year old stoner that cries about everything. But he gets way more hate than the suburban sounding stoner Diaz Bros.
