Fighters lose more the older they get? That's what I'm getting from your 1st three examples.

    Very tough sport.

I consider a huge drop to be a fall off that isn't totally attributable to something like age or injury. Often this means having a weakness exposed or losing a fight and not being able to mentally recover from it. Ronda's obviously the prime example.

Just off the top of my head all fell really fast for one reason or another (age, injury, cracked chin )

Not taking a shot at any of them , enjoyed watching them all

Fair point. Although I think Poirier and Whittaker are in their prime and not on the wrong side of 30 is also helpful.

I'm amazed Renan Barao wasn't mentioned immediately Herr. Guy was rated as a P4P monster and future GOAT and couldn't and still can't get a decent win after being dismantled by TJ.

Yes, there was a time when an athlete had 1 birthday too many. Imagine that.

Tony Ferguson. Went from a 12 fight win streak to 3 fight losing streak getting dominated in every single round.

Tyron Woodley. Like Ferguson, lost every single round since losing championship.

Well, if you're including getting old as a drop its hard not to notice things like:

    Muhammad Ali
High: Olympic gold medalist and HW world champion
    Low: Dead

    Sugar Ray Robinson
High: MW world champion and often considered the boxing GOAT
    Low: Dead

Its a drop all of us will make some day. There's even a good song about it:
