Fighters who changed their nickname?

Married Burkman can do whatever he wants.
And stop talking about bad nicknames, there are a lot of threads about that already.

I won't, but I invite you to look at another thread if you like.

Jon koppenhaver changed his real name to his nickname, does that count?

How is this thread not about:

Chris "The Cat Smasher" Leben?!?

Threads titled "The Best Fighter Nickname Ever" should also be about The Cat Smasher.

Agree 100%

Think the Reem is a better nickname than demolition man

true, but he used to walk to the ring with a sledge hammer when he was called the demolition man ..., that was part of his gimmick

I never really got the Hollywood nickname for Henderson. He doesn't come off as a flashy type whatsoever. Why did they call him Hollywood? The Decision Dan, on the other hand, was pretty obvious ^^
Dan said he never liked it and that PRIDE forced it on him because it sound "American".

Despite the politics behind it, he'll always be just Hollywood to me fellas. :)

Call it nostalgia or what not.

That's his name bro.

And btw, Scarface is pretty badass, but nicknames are something you just can't force, they need to "happen".
It's technically part of his name, yeah. But it was previously listed as his official nickname as well - as in Jose "Junior" Aldo, and not just Jose Aldo Jr.

Murilo Ninja Rua to Murilo Shogun Rua.

N/A -> "K-1" Matt Hughes

Hybrid -> "BJJ Phenom" Brendan Schaub

Iceman -> Chuck "He has that look in his eyes" Liddell

Jens Pulver was known as "the pulverizer" before he was "lil evil"

and for the record the best, according to the serdog fightfinder is:

James "The James Krause" Krause

Now it's James "Two Checks" Krause, anyhow.
