the ufc totally messed up the undercard of the conor/cowboy card. with all the eyes on a conor card who would you showcase? we seen how much derrick lewis exploded in popularity after his ko and post fight interview with that spotlight.

If they are looking to build him up for a new audience, which it seems they are, this would be a good spot for Chandler.

gonna be a shit undercard I'd imagine ...

they want too much $$ for charities and side deals then to let anyone else have a real payday too

    500k to dustins charity ...

you don't actually think Conor is coming out of pocket for that do you ?

the whole accepting money before hand is a very very bad look for this fight IMO

I think Dustin takes the BAG on this one

Chandler vs Tony would be perfect.

Since depending what the hell happens with Khabib chances are the winner's of that fight and Conor vs Dustin fight will fight next for the title if Khabib is truly gone.

Cerrone, Makhachev, Hooker, Oliveira, Tony, Chandler... Match those guys up pretty much however you want aside from the Tony vs Cerrone rematch and it would be a great card.

    Jiri Prochazka, Khamzat.

I agree, Tony became a star with his performance at UFC 229. They just had Holm dusting a 10-8 fighter and a bunch of nobodies at Conor vs Cowboy.

It seems to me you are under the impression Cerrone deserves a top 5 opponent LOL

They started great by adding Nasrat and Arman Tsarukyan. Id go on by adding Zabit-Yair to it and also up-and-coming fighters like Shabily, Evloev, Guram and Askar askarov. And ofc some washed-up big names like Pettis.

Jiri's already booked to face Reyes in a main event just after that so it won't be him.

I know it should be water on the bridge now but I don't see them risking booking Islam on the same card as Conor.

    This is a great question.
For sure, Ferguson vs. Chandler needs to be the co-main event.
From there it's tough because a lot of higher ranked guys are already booked or waiting for title fights to play out.
I'd like to see Do Bronx vs. Dariush on that card. I'd also like to see Zabit vs. Yair, but that'll probably be a fight night main event.

Only 2 of those guys are in the top 5 and I already addressed Tony. Hooker is coming off a loss and his best win is Iaquinta, Chandler isn't ranked, Oliveira is on a good streak but got whooped by Cerrone in the past and his best win is Kevin Lee, Makhachev is barely ranked.. So yeah, I stand by putting Cerrone against any of those guys besides Tony.

Tony vs Chandler is a no brainer co main. The winners face each other and if an injury does happen then one can step in.

I'd have booked Edwards vs. Chimeav here instead
