As the title says, fighting in a controlled environment like the octagon is very different to holding your nerve in a heated battle in a warzone.

Which fighters do you think would be good in a warzone?

Brian Stann- considering his leadership qualities and experience in the field.

Kharitonov - again, I think he has experience in the Russian Military

    Fedor - ... because he's Fedor.

Josh Barnett. He would just go towards enemy lines, leaving a trail of suffering and blood in his way, only to return with the skulls of his crushed enemies.

Since Tim Kennedy is in the Special forces I'll go with him.

No matter how skilled you are as an MMA fighter I would bet my money on the dude with the AK47..

At one stage, Matrix-mode Anderson Silva looked like he could dodge bullets.

Condit obviously. He's a natural born killer. Also having a minotaur on your side wouldn't hurt.

    Kennedy
    Stann
    Cro Cop
    Ellenberger

I know all of those guys have tactical training. As for guys that don't, I'd say Hughes and Condit, both do a lot of shooting.

Obvious answer is fighters who have military experience or some sort of experience in law enforcement. As for fighters with no experience in that sort of thing I think Cheal would be alright, he's damn near fearless but above all he is a loyal company man that will follow orders without question lol
