Was just looking up Sean Soriano's record cause of the news that he'd been released, and wondered how many fighters that were undefeated coming in, lost all fights and later got released.

Tons of them, I'm sure.

Wagner Prado, for example.

These days they grab larger fighters so early in their career, they've rarely if ever fought anyone decent yet.

Lets not forget Dashon Johnson, the guy with an insanely padded record.

This kid was 9-0 coming into the UFC, the combined record of all his opponents was an astounding 18-68. It's worth mentioning that one fighter accounts for 12 of those wins, a 12-12 fighter who Dashon beat by Split decision. So between 8 of Dashon's opponents they had a combined total of 6 wins and 56 losses lol.

Some of these fighters only had 2 fights and they were cut, you never know if they had a couple more they could've turned things around but Octagon Pressure is no joke.

Yeah 0-2 is the standard for cutting guys, some people get a pass. Like Ruan Potts, a HW who has looked pretty bad in both his UFC fights and lost both of them is getting a 3rd chance against Derrick Lewis. Why they would keep Potts and drop a guy like Jack May, who was fairly competitive in both his UFC fights, is odd to me.

The late Shane del Rosario was on an undefeated 11 fight winning streak when he came to the UFC, and lost both fights in devastating fashion.

Because he's South African; some people just get a pass based on their nationality, look at Ogle. If he was American he would be cut long ago, but they kept sticking him on European cards.

I didn't want you feeling this gem was overlooked. I smiled.

It's what I do.
