I know some jujitsu fighters that dabble in to yoga for flexibility and balance. But I am wondering, has there been a full fledged yogi who turned in to a mixed martial artist?

I am talking about a guy who has mastered pranayama breathing, meditation, postures and other aspects of yoga that is not presented in to the western yoga to do it being time consuming and not fit in the business model of western yoga.

The only guy I know who embraced yoga was Rickson Gracie.

Diego Sanchez is really into Yoga. Not a full blown Yogi though.

If such a fighter existed we would've heard about it on a promo by now.

"World class, downward dog, Joe!"

Diego Sanchez, Luke Cummo, Babalu,.. Back in the Pride days, the behind the scenes showed lots of Brazilian guys doing yoga type stuff for warm up. BTT guys. Probably alot more. That is just off the top of my head. Ricco Rodriguez too.

I remember in TUF 1 he was preaching and copying Ricksons persona which included the yoga aspect. But other then that, I don't recall Diego being in to yoga.

Rickson Gracie's yoga game is fierce.

Or pilates? Any HWs into major pilates work?

Wasn't there a LHW who was a ballerina at one point too? Before he quit to focus on MMA??

Look at that blubber wrinkle around her elbow.

2/10
Would not unless really high

When I'm high, the points and wrinkles only intensify in my mind. I'd have to be drunk, personally. At least if she poked out an eye with her hellbow I wouldn't even feel it....
