Pretty cool to see how well loved Gaethje is by his fellow UFC fighters.

Even Khabib calling him a "Monster." haha

Guy leaves nothing behind in the cage. He is ALL in, kill or be killed. The very definition of a warrior.

Seriously though I love when this kind of thing happens. A guy who'd never beaten anyone worth mentioning discredits his opponent as a can or trash then gets destroyed. What does that say about then then???

Gaethje is a fighter's fighter. Impossible to dislike and he's capable of beating anyone. If he has made the adjustments after the Alvarez fight (avoiding getting his body torn up), then he will be terrorizing the division for a little while. Gaethje is someone top-tier fighters will duck because he can derail the entire division.

Gaethje has had no easy fights since entering the UFC.

Dude is a warrior and matches up real well against the wrestlers in the division.

    He deserves more credit.

THIS. Of most top tier fighters in the UFC, Gaethje has constantly been given sharks to fight against, and he's done fairly well against those sharks. The gauntlet he's had to endure makes him easily one of the most respectable fighters in MMA today in my opinion. He's such a game fighter it is almost unheard of today, I mean, all he's done i taken a MASSIVE step up in competition and handled it.

more credit? He seems to be universally loved for the violence he brings and gets bonuses every fight. Why are people acting like he is underappreciated? He's been a headline draw from day 1 in the UFC.

the funny thing is, Gaethje has faced more top competition then Khabib has at 155lbs.

Khabib beat RDA a million years ago at a catchweight, everyone else he's fought are mid tier, cans, or ran off to another weight division.

yet people talk about Gaethje like he's not that good, but Khabib is supposed to be some kind of unstoppable Russian bear wrestling god.

I actually thought Vick was going to handle that. What a shock. Congratulations Justin Gaethjew!

Yeh. That’s what his training partner looked like with Alcantara. He looked like a fighter vs a civilian

sherdog has a love hate relationship with the gaethje type fighter. when he wins, he gets respect as a warrior. when he loses, he is an idiot who needs to gameplan and is looking for brain damage.

personally, i respect him win or lose.

He seemed very emotional in this interview for some reason, like he was holding back tears.
