Sure looks like it. It's happening more and more and the reward is your name plastered all over every MMA site. Never heard so much about this Till dude until now. Watch this space, we're going to see an epidemic of this.

Besides, weight cutting is absurd and needs to end, would anyone expect Brady or Lebron to operate at peak capacity after shedding 40lbs over a week? No way would fans of the NFL and NBA pay good money to watch drained, exhausted and weaker versions of what professional athletes ought to be.

There needs to be more severe punishments for missing weight, it's becoming a joke.

They need to make an example and cut somebody.

doesnt work.. they want to keep the big draws.. diaz came in overweight against rda as a fuck-you, put on a great show as usual, still around and got conor fight twice.
if a low ranked guy misses weight, boom he's cut.. how is that setting an example? it just shows the more popular you are, the more you can get away with imo

I mean they should cut a higher ranked guy.

so they can go over to bellator and boost bellator's rankings? it doesnt work that way in biz world.. if he's making UFC money, they gonna be flexible and try other avenues ie: make them move up a weight class and match them against aging legnds like they did for Kevin Gastelum

I agree with your point about nobody wanting to see top tier athletes drained and dehydrated. MMA is weird like that...
