We all want our favorite fighters to leave on their own terms without risking being KO'd by a young wolf. Which fighter's decline saddened you the most ?

Damn Machida's last losses were brutal.. I didn't want to see that

Not a favorite, but grey's decline was brutal to watch. From a punch away from champion to getting knocked out repeatedly. It shows that damage adds up and what is lost in the fight game can never be recovered.

Fedor: didn't factor Werdum, but Bigfoot made me :(

Also, A. Silva and BJ.

Shogun. Kinda too bad Nick Diaz is just not a top 5 WW in the world when I though he is the whole time. (Not really a decline, more like brutal realization)

Machida.

Don't think Anderson is "declining". The guy's STILL SHOWING a lot of technique and fights at high level at 41 years old. most praise Hunt but don't do the same with Anderson. They buy the "got dropped by pillow fists bisping twice" as a proof he isn't the same. He can still kick ass. most Middleweights by his age are all retired and fucked up with injuries.

damn near all of them but Noguiera was tough to see, ditto CroCop

conversely I was fucking thrilled when Koscheck started getting murked in every fight, not even sure if he qualifies as 'aging'

Chuck and Sakuraba

on a side note i hope Wandy keeps fighting till he is no longer capable of putting out those horrible rant vids.

I was in ATL when Chuck got KTFO by Rashad.......It was a sad day for me.

After Hunt, Wand's chin was shot. Got crocoped, then H bombed, then got dropped by rampage. I miss this:

Hendo. He was the last few vets who was never KO'd . Now hes in everyones highlight reel

Gomi is one that comes to mind that others didn't mention. I remember when he was the #1 LW but he was just never the same after a certain point.
