I know a good fighter when I see one, and Sanders is clearly a guy who can be a top guy in his division.

He's done nothing to prove that, and he's certainly done nothing to prove he would beat Aljo, that's just ridiculous, Aljo is a top five fighter with who could very well challenge Cruz in 2017, Aljo is being criminally underrated because Dana refused to give him the spotlight he deserved and evidently isn't willing to pay for a top young fighter in a division that has a champ whose had serious injury issues in Cruz, a top contender who hasn't fought since 2014 in Assuncao, a former champion whose most likely going to be forced to move up a weight class in Barao and an aging Faber who looks like he's on the last legs of his career based on his recent fights.

Add on top of that he's a New York fighter and he has tremendous value to the UFC, he can very well be an asset but instead Dana wants to shove Sage Northcutt down our throats.

He may not have any huge wins to his credit (even though beating Blanco in the first round In your debut, on short notice, a weight class above what you usually fight at is a pretty huge win) he's clearly a guy you can just watch fight and tell he's a beast.
