So basically i've spent tonight scouting fighters, and i was taking a look at some of Daniel Teymur's fights. I came accross the oddest fight i have ever seen.

Teymer gets cracked by a huge left hand which pretty much KO's him. He comes to on the way down and his opponent throws some big ground & pound to get the stoppage, which he does as the ref steps in and stops it. Then it seems Teymur & his corner protest the stoppage (looked a fair stoppage to me), and the fight gets restarted for some reason. Then Teymur goes on to win by submission 2 minutes later.

Anyway, watch the video, i've not seen anything like it.

The crazyness starts 4 minutes in

Wow!!!

This one is a ko the ref doesn't step in and the fighter subs him instead of gnp him!

That first stoppage looked like a classic Herb "QUICK STOPPAGE" Dean type of stoppage. He clearly was not out and was constantly moving to avoid shots. Luckily he was able to win that fight instead of getting a loss due to a "QUICK STOPPAGE" from a clueless ref.

It was a bad stoppage IMO, Teymur was OK and defending, ref just became in panic
It should have been a draw then :D

I really thought this was going to be another post about how great Rizin is, using Kazushi Sakuraba as a platform (losing by TKO to Conan Silveria and then beating him by submission in the finals of the tournament).

I was pleasantly surprised.

Getting KOd and coming too to win by sub is kinda the story of Sakurabas career.
