A quick review of my NAGA and New Breed Board Shorts.
First, I'm 5'10", about 190 lbs. I'm 35 with a small gut. Stop laughing!
I bought the NAGA shorts about a year ago and wore them in competition twice, in class about 5 times and ran in them once to twice a week. They're okay, never hamper movement and look decent. I can't stand the velcro! No matter what I do it digs into my skin. During the second comp they ripped on the leg seam. I still run in them but have to make sure I tuck my shirt in so the velcro doesn't rip the hell out of my skin.
I bought the New Breed shorts at the last comp. I saw the way the velcro was covered and had to try them. These things are awesome!!! No painful rubbing and they never restrict my movement. They also seem lighter. I often sleep in them and then get up early and run. I love the fact that by the time I'm done with breakfast there dry. I've put them through twice as many workouts as the NAGA shorts and there is now sign of wear.
Anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, flexable and stylish pair of fight shorts should check out New Breed. They ARE all that and a bag of potato chips!!!
