Living in Ireland and up until a few weeks ago I was paying for my UFC with a BT Sport subscription. However, BT Sport was bought out in July and so is now no longer available on my cable provider ( Virgin UPC - the most popular provider in the country) So basically I can't watch UFC on tv unless I went through the hassle of changing my cable and broadband provider...

So not wanting to be a scab I signed up for Fight Pass this week, and low and behold beside UFC Fight Night: Arlovski vs Barnett (on UFC Fight Pass) I see this message: "Due to broadcast restrictions, this video is not available within a UFC® FIGHT PASS™ subscription"

Looks like I just wasted money on a poorly formatted MMA library! More fool me for wanting to watch UFC the legal way I suppose

If shows are being broadcasted on TV in your region it won't be on FP.

S*cks for you pal.

Thank god I live in Quebec and all the free event (even the fight pass exclusive) still are on free TV.

Exactly. I know there were issues with this regarding UFC 202 in Ireland specifically. I think the Irish fans couldn't even pay for it live on Fight Pass... they had to have the right cable subscription and go through them.

Fight pass is great for all the same promotions they have signed. How can you hate having tons of fight cards from all across the world at your fingertips?

My mistake was I thought Fight Pass events would be broadcast on Fight Pass regardless of the country of residence I ticked when I signed up, being that it's the internet.

I have no way to legally watch live UFC now, unless I cancel my tv / internet and landline provider which has been reliable and i've never had an issue with, and sign up with their competition. It's simply not worth the hassle or the cost.

Unless it's a fight pass show they won't air events for like 45 days. Sorry bud

Yeah, but the commentary is in French, so you miss Goldie and Rogan's wonderful wit and analysis.

Use a vpn. I set mine to Lithuania and I can watch all of the prelims and main events on fight pass.

Fightpass is simply the greatest streaming service of all time, plus the UFC are practically giving it away with it's low, low monthly fee. Countless hours of quality entertainment. Maybe you're just not a real MMA fan

@UFCint702 Mind weighing in on this or at least looking into it? Thanks.
