The same way Floyd and Bivol beat him: counter the shit outta him when he gets close then circle away, occasionally take the fight to him then move away again. Canelo always struggles against fighters with good footwork. Add in just enough power to get his respect and you have a blueprint for victory. Lara would have beaten Canelo if he didn't stop punching after winning 4 rounds.

Canelo hasn't finished anyone since 2021. His last 5 fights were a loss to Bivol and 4 decisions against 40-yo Golovkin, John Ryder, 154-pounder Charlo and Munguia. He's not beating Bud.
