mid way thru the workout, Pat was saying his middle knuckle was sore... hopefully it’s nothing though

another round of mittwork
finished with a round of shadowboxing

in the middles of the session today, Pat said his middle knuckle was feeling sore. Hopefully its nothing major

Why more mitt work if his knuckle was possibly injured?

Friday February 19th

Weigh ins

Patrik: 168.2
Tristyn: 169.4

This was def a wacky training camp. I'd be lying if I said this camp went smoothly. Pat really turned it up the last few days, but Pat looked shitty half of the training sessions for this camp. Part of that is due to either him getting to the gym extremely late or coming into the gym straight outta work on an empty stomach.

Still in good spirits Pat gets the W.

Saturday February 20th

Fight Day

1st starts off and Pat gets tagged with a huge right hand... gameplan goes out the window SMH

both dude swinging for the fences like idiots. 1 min in and Tristyn goes for a takedown but fails, ends up in the clinch against the cage and Pat starts landing knees to the dome. The last knee drops Tristyn to his knees where Pat finishes him with a BRUTAL right uppercut

Pat wins via KO 1:40 into the first round

Patrik improves his record to 9-1 with all his wins by ko/tko. So pretty solid record and maybe only a fight or 2 away fro getting something big. With that said, it’s hard to tell how far Pat success can go working his full time job. The days we trained where he didn’t work or the days he got off work early he training is never an issue. The other days can he can look quite pathetic. The days he works he doesn’t take care of his nutrition and sleep, so that’s gonna be on him to mature in that sense.

Pat does have potential though... gonna be interesting to see if he can get another fight this year on the local scene.

Update

Patrik just fought on the contender series (October 5th 2021) episode 6
