If Bellator bring in some 8-2 nobody from outside the org, I'll officially be convinced they never plan on having MVP rise up the ranks and simply are using him as an exciting 'booster' to bring eyes to shows - kinda like a minor-level freakshow addition.

I have no idea why Daley/Gonzalez was a random kickboxing match and not a ww number 1 contender mma fight. Seem like it was such a waste.

That sucks. Always fun to watch Page fight hope he returns soon.

I will always remember one of Bjorns final interviews though when he said "Now that Ben Askren is gone I can be tempted to speed MVP into a tournament beings the division is left with mostly strikers".

It basically confirmed that they knew what many of us suspected. He may never be ready for the elite level, but hopefully they can at least find some higher quality strikers for him to fight... Koreshkov fight would be badass
 
They updated the story, Gonzalez is out due to visa issues.

Bellator is going to have to find a European fighter for MVP.
