Look at the subtext guys, what Powell and other feminists are really suggesting is the indoctrination of guilt. They want men to be lectured to ad infinitum on the evils of men until men are inundated with shame and guilt. Me and my entire peer group have always known that hurting people is wrong and I can't name one of them who would not be disgusted or outraged or otherwise extremely, extremely alarmed to know that one of his peers has committed a form of violence as grave as rape or murder.

It's like, fuck off already. The people who are willing to rape and murder will do so regardless of the amount of times and all various ways that they are told it's not nice.

General pattern of thinking? I don't know what kind of thoughts you have, but I haven't heard of many instances of men shooting up campuses because they can't get laid. Also, I haven't heard any of the males I know speak like the psycho who shot up the campus.

This, exactly this. I've said since day one that the kid was simply born with a head full of bad wiring. The lack of sex was nothing more than an excuse he gave himself. I agree. But the environment you're raised with (X-box, internet, divorce, no social life, lack of morals, lack of parenting), had a big impact as well. Maybe more than being born a certain way. I believe environment can overcome innate tendencies.

How the fuck do you know if they were actual rapists if the evidence wasn't there saying they were? I could just as easily say those men were falsely accused of rape and were allowed to walk. We do have this pesky little thing called innocent until proven guilty. But I'm not even saying those men were innocent. I'm just saying to presume otherwise without evidence is plain stupid and frankly destructive.

Read the part where I said the DA's require SLAM DUNK evidence to charge. Speak to a DA and ask them of the evidence threshold for charging someone with rape is anywhere near robbery, assault, drug crimes, etc. They will tell you sex crimes are much higher, unfairly higher in every social worker and dectectives opinion ive gotten, which is around a dozen people ive spoke with. Ask them if the reasoning for this is the pursuit of justice or lack of resources.

Then ask yourself if 80% percent of these girls, many very young kids, are going through the very long and usually tramatic process of trying to press rape charges as some form of malevolent lie and get turned down because they get caught in it, or if they get turned away because creepy uncle had a the 2 brain cells it takes not to leave cum and witnesses at the crime scene.

As far as your comment about the girls having to go through multiple interviews with dectectives, you don't seem to understand the dectectives ascertain something did happen and give the approval to press charges and it's the DAs still shooting down 80% of these cases.

i think that the feminizing of american society has caused men to act more and more feminized, thus making them less attractive to women. women will tell you that they want a man who respects them and is kind to them, yet this is the complete opposite of what attracts women to men. men take this approach to be literal, in that acting this way will lead them to having sex with women, when it obviously doesn't.

society needs to realize that men and women are different, and that each gender needs to act differently. i don't mean to say that men should be assholes towards women. not at all. in fact, my biggest point here is that a man's natural personality, that of being a naturally strong, confident, and charming person, is what a man wants to be, and what a woman wants.

i see a lot of this in my youngest brother's generation. those kids born from 1990 and above. the personalities of men and women of this age seem to be so similar, it's scary. it's like schools are removing genders altogether.

We have a skewed view of what a real man should be. He should be masculine, he should be a leader, he should be strong, he should be moral, caring, he should treat women with respect and dignity. Forgive me for ignoring your anecdotal evidence. And we have thrown innocent men who were accused of rape into prison. I highly doubt slam dunk evidence is needed for every single rape case if innocent men are being sent to prison.

Evidence is evidence. You need it (or SHOULD need it) to convict someone accused of a crime. We can't send men to prison based solely on accusation.

i think that crazy definitely exists. though i think that in the case of this rodger guy, his frustrations with women is what led him to becoming crazy. it seems that his entire life revolved around that one goal of being attractive to women, that it engulfed his entire life, and not knowing how to resolve this issue led to his craziness, and eventual downfall.

I agree with this but I do have one caveat.

It's not just that we've created men who are unattractive to women. We've also created men who think they're entitled to a specific type of women. So they ignore realistic sexual opportunities to pursue fantasies they'll never realize.

I agree. IMO you can partially blame porn for that. It's everywhere now. No longer do you have to go to a special section of the store. It's on sports web pages, tv commercials after 9 pm, National Enquirer in grocery lines. I gotta turn magazines over in grocery store lines so my boy isn't staring at boobs and butts in thongs. Nearly every day you will encounter it to some degree. It wasn't in your face 20 years ago.
