Female Roommates

Treat them like you would anyone else, in all my experiences and other experiences I've heard of, you will probably end up liking one of them or both and either get friend zoned or fuck them on a drunk night, start a relationship and be moved out quickly after that.
 
Don't do it. When I was in college, roomed with two friends, one guy and one chick. The chick brought drama to the house, was disgusting, and ultimately left by then end of the year.

i lived with roommates for years. when you're living with people you get along with, it's great. when you're living with people you don't get along with, it's a fucking nightmare. i have lived with all kinds of people, and you need to be a very patient person when living with roommates. it will take time to get to know people. the first few weeks will be everyone being extra-nice since it's the, "honeymoon" phase of the living situation. people generally start to show their true colors after about a month. and it will be at that point, when you will know if the situation will work.

i'll be honest and say that as a guy, living with guys is WAY better than living with girls. there are some really easy-going women, but many women bring in drama to the household, may leave the bathroom a mess with all their make-up, etc. and many of them will expect you to take on the responsibility if there are house-issues that need fixing such as the fridge, stove, and generally calling the landlord about those kinds of issues. the other issue, is if you allow your dick to think for you and you hook-up with a chick roommate. i made that mistake and it made my life hell. DON'T DO IT.

yeah, these are the kinds of things you need to know before living with someone. you have to find out what everyone's schedules are, so you can see if they clash and whether it's worth it to change your schedule in order to live there.

i'd avoid it, man. that's almost as bad as sleeping with the roommate-herself. i'm telling you dude, take my advice. a lot of these replies are pretty funny, but don't take them seriously.
 
Remember - a threesome is NEVER out of the question.

It's true. Rarely have I met a women that didn't leave their clothes scattered all over the place and didn't leave the bathroom sink looking like someone was bathing groundhogs in it.

Plus my ex used to leave dirty dishes all over place, which used to drive me nuts. I mean, we had a dishwasher for chrissakes.

This!! No doubt when I had a female room mate years ago she had something wrong with her box...she would put her used tampons in the trash next to the toilet with no cover. God damn the smell was so bad I was gagging the whole time I showered. I had my girlfriend at the time check it out, and she said no thats not normal, she has something wrong down there. Not surprising, she was banging nasty dudes left and right, ended up getting knocked up and hooked on meth, now grandma is raising the kid.....yech, just yech..Ill never forget that smell, like a dead body. Get 2 bathrooms tell the girls to share one, you get the other.

When you mentioned University, I figured there was a chance they were going to be in their young 20s. That would end up being interesting, but it may be pretty low key if they are in their late 20s.

Living with women you aren't banging is not worth the loss of sanity. I lived with 4 women at one time for two years. I ended up with one after awhile BIG MISTAKE. The worst thought was the tv remote control. This was years ago when not every had 3 HDTV's in each house, there was one TV. I would have to bribe them with alchohol just so I could watch anything sports or news related.

I had a female roommate once (that I wasn't banging - she had/has a serious bf who I also ended up becoming good friends with) and it was pretty cool actually. She was a good friend of mine before she moved in and was very clean and respectful.

But yeah, the fucking sink man, wtf.

I hope so. They both have jobs and hobbies that take them away from the home and I work shift work so we may not have a lot of overlap. I agreed to a short term lease to start so if it goes badly I can bail in a couple months.
