Fellow Diaz fans (bandwagon jumpers need not apply) I wanted to share a post with you I made about a week ago when discussing fans:
The Diaz brothers are my favorite fighters so the fans dont bother me too much but there are definitely some idiots, however, I will say this in their defence.
They are loyal, despite Nick and Nate not having the best run recently they remain fans, they support their guys. This annoys some people because they will say "oh theyre shit who cares" well, obviously their fans. At least they aren't jumping ship after a loss, which is the case for a lot of the bigger fan bases in the sport.
I see people get annoyed when Nick or Nate get mentioned and claim they suck, they haven't won, which I understand but in a sport like fighting when a guy loses a few he is done and his fan base dissappears, ie: Fedor, Silva. Nick gets popped for weed in a fight he lost and he gets enough support that the NSAC overturn the ruling. How many of these Mcgregor fan boys will stick around after a loss, I would say less than 20%...
