I never understood why pride didn't make this fight happen right after Shogun won the GP. Instead they put him against Mark Coleman. Now they are both in the same spot in their career and should be put in fun fights. I think this would be great because both are coming off wins. Both are the same size. Make it happen. Who do you have in this? I think shogun looked really aggressive in his last fight with Anderson. Good win.

setting one up for a loss.. nah.

Fedors' toughness and fighting spirit actually make me worry for his health at this stage.

Would hate to see him get punch drunk. Dude can, and often does take huge amounts of punishment to win.

Lord knows it would not end by submission.

Shogun lost to Coleman, thats the reason he never face Fedor.

Love both dudes. Neither needs anymore head trauma. I want both to retire and enjoy a long life being able to physically play with their kids and have the mental capacity to enjoy the memories they have inside and outside the cage.

I totally see where you're coming from and that's super cool that you're compassionate like that but both have said they don't want to retire and they have earned the right to fight.

I doubt that the UFC are cutting Shogun any time soon.

Shogun trains like a professional, he doesn't spar Sidelnikov. He'd probably win easily.

The only conceivable nostalgic fight that Fedor can have is against Rampage.

Rampage KO

I'm down with that fight, Id like to see him fight Arlovski again though, and then bigfoot. Give Andre and Fedor chances to avenge losses.

after watching fedor/fabio i say shogun even at his stage in his career probably beats fedor

It would be about who breaks, and leaps forward with horrible, completely unbalancing overhand first, I guess.
