Fedor vs. Minakov?

If both Fedor and Vitaly Minokov won their fights on Fight Night Global,cam we see them fighting each other in the near future?

Probably not. Fedor is not a big fan of Russian vs. Russian fights.

It would make sense and it also be one of if not the best opponent he could fight outside of the UFC.

Though Fight Nights has made it pretty well known this Fedor fight is costing them a lot of money and its kind like it better pay off in aces. So I'm not sure their in the Fedor business long term.

As sad as it is to say, I don't think Emelianenko wants any piece of Minakov. He's called him the best heavyweight in the world.

I dont think a lot of people realize how heavily Fedor is respected by the russian fighters.

When Sergei said he wanted to fight Fedor back in Pride it was seen as a huge sign of disrespect and created a falling out between Red Devil and RTT and wad the beginning stage of the Aleks - Sergei beef.

Im sure Minakov is fully able and willing to test himself against the likes of Fedor but out of respect he isnt going to call him out. Fedor is an icon in Russian Combat Sports and I feel like if Minakov is a serious contender there will be other opportunities to prove his worth outside of trying to build his name off a 40 year old Fedor.

They have trained together and are pals and its not going down.

If it did go down Id still take the GOAT.
