I was thinking MMA at work on Monday.

UFC 200 occupied my thoughts and the prospect of a several mega fights got me frothing at the mouth.

The likes of Jon Jones, Conny Mac, Anderson Silva, GSP could all feature and it raised a question.

How far will the UFC go in bringing the most attractive fight card to this landmark event? Is this the moment to bring in Fedor for a one fight contract deal to face Fabricio Werdum. This fight makes sense! The greatest heavyweight fighter of all time should be enticed into the greatest MMA promotion. UFC should stump up 3 million dollars or more for Fedor and make it happen.

Werdum vs Emilianenko needs to happen as a history fight...or no?

I truly believe that Fedor ship has sailed...it would be nice to see him in the Octagon, but I doubt the casuals would appreciate it as much...

There's already quite a bit of star power and decent story lines going into UFC 200...I don't see the need to bring in some outside name.

Just my two pennies.

Not gonna happen. Fedor dont want to be in the UFC. That is obvious

Dana told fedor to come on down

Fedor turned chicken

It's just as likely that I'll be fighting at UFC 200 as it is that Fedor will be fighting at UFC 200. There's 0% change of it IMO.

Especially for a 1 fight deal. What if Fedor wins? Then he takes out the UFC's HW champ and leaves the organization?

Fedor vs 200 UFC fighters sounds about right to me.
Does Reebok make body bags?

Emelianenko doesn't play the UFC's "draconian" game.

lol Werdum would embarrass him, even worse than the first time.

Fedor should fight someone before champ, there are still questions if he is UFC caliber now

Fedor is not going to fight anyone in the UFC.

Fedor's next fight is probably Baruto, not even joking, that's what Sakakibara hinted at.

Fedor got beat by the Werdum that lay on the ground trying to entice overeem into his guard for 15 minuites he has no fucking chance against this smashing machine Werdum

I'm a huge fan of Fedor, still the greatest of all time. But I agree with you, he doesn't have that drawing power it doesn't seem worth the hassle for UFC right now. Nor does Fedor really need to come to the UFC, he doesn't have anything to prove it's not like hes gona make a title run at this stage. So yea that ship's sailed.

Wouldn't do the UFC and good. Fedor isn't worth 3 mil for one fight and he wouldn't draw much at all. Fedor is great but nobody outside the hardcore fanbase gives a shit.

damm i tought it was finaly over with Fedor in UFC talks
It wont happen period

Fedor is over the hill, bringing him in for UFC 200 at this point of his career would be quite tacky, like something Bellator would do.

Personally my ideal card would feature Wonderboy, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones and McGregor

yeah the hw division is in no need for exciting fights at all

Fedor is old and expired. UFC is top organization and if anything they need to start working on bringing young HW prospects.

I believe Emelianenko would gladly fight any man, but is not happy with the UFC's binding contract.

The Reebok deal was the final nail in the coffin that buried any chance of Emelianenko fighting for the UFC.

The way the UFC treated Wanderlei by not releasing him from his contract wouldn't go unnoticed . Not to mention Dana's public disrespect towards Emelianenko.

It's unfortunate but that's the way it is.

(I admit I am biased towards one of my idols but if Emelianenko was to fight Werdum tomorrow I would bet massively on Emelianenko, that's just how sure I am that he still is elite.)
