Fedor talks about Dana White

Fedor vs Lesnar was at one time the biggest fight MMA could offer.

Dana would have promoted the fuck out of Lesnar and made it look like Fedor was joining the ufc to try and finally prove himself, when in reality he was already the goat of the JMMA era. I don’t blame Fedor for not signing with a company that was clearly wanting to make him look bad to ultimately prove UFC was better than Pride.

Stop pretending like the reason Fedor didn't sign want because he wanted co promotion with M1.

For my part I would have definitely preferred to have seen Anderson vs GSP in that 2008-2012 window. But yeah, Fedor vs Lesnar would have definitely been bigger.
Probably not. Brock was the biggest draw at the time, but GSP was #2. Fedor was not a big star in terms of drawing power at all. GSP vs Anderson would sell just as well

negotiations probably took a turn when Dana kept calling him Fay-dor instead of Fyoder.

Dana is a scum bag, but Fedor and M1s demands were ridiculous

Perhaps Fedor was smart enough to know why UFC contracts were a bad idea for him? DW and the UFC's greed and exploitative ways had no part in it?

Fedor did not NEED the UFC to be successful, and he knew that. He was protecting his own brand EXACTLY like the UFC does with their product, but Fedor is the one at fault in the case?

After all these years and negotiations never coming together, Fedor never needed the UFC. And to be frank, the UFC didn't need him either. Both sides were just fine without each other. The only ones that lose out were the fans.

I think the world of Fedor. I always have and most likely always will. He provided a nice life for him and his family, and he provided us fans with lots of fantastic memories.

I think the world of Dana White when it comes to what he did for the UFC. I think he's ultimately all about money, but that's not my concern. Hell, it's his job to make the UFC successful, and that mother-f-er made it successful no matter how popular it is to bash him. Dana isn't out to make friends. Dana isn't out to be on a fighter's side. Dana is all about making the UFC successful.

Like him or not (and I don't), Dana has enabled all of us to enjoy our preferred sport.

I have never seen any other story but that one told to explain the break down in the negotiation. Feel free to enlighten me though.
