Fedor is looking good and in shape. Don't think it will be enough, but I don't know anything about what he looks like, minute to minute in preparation.
Fedor going to Holland is one of the worst decisions of his career. Just fucking train wrestling and sambo, his chin can barely handle a jab rn and hes focused on striking smh.
I don't think current Fedor's Sambo is enough nowadays. Too many years focusimg on headhunting imo. He used to fight like a grappler thoughYou are retarded if you think its wise for an old fighter with a glass chin and broken hands to stay focused on striking. Fedor's Sambo is still plenty enough to beat the guys thats hes fighting and couldve won him fights vs fighters that he lost to by preferring to stand up.
Holland has great fighters in certain displines, except for the sport that Fedor competes in, MMA!
Fedor has made some stupid decisions, giving up of advantageous positions (letting Sonnen up after dropping him 2x recently, striking with Maldonado rather than taking him down and winning an easy fight) You are an absolute fool if you think Fedor's gameplanning has gotten better.
According to some people in this thread, this training camp in the best case scenario for Fedor, despite the fact that he would be welcomed by any gym in the world!
Holland is the best for sure though, Fedor getting in good work with soccer moms and amateurs!
At his age and the damage on his body, he needs to feel comfortable and work with people he trusts. He trusts his people in Russia, and he trusts his people in Holland. There are no training methods that are going to make him ready to effectively wrestle with someone like Bader. He has to land. He has to land first, and he has to do it right away. The guys in Holland are going to be the best ones to keep his timing sharp.According to some people in this thread, this training camp in the best case scenario for Fedor, despite the fact that he would be welcomed by any gym in the world!

Yep. Trust. He has two things that he can really hope to pull off. He can land a big shot or series of them, or he can make something happen from the bottom. There are plenty of videos out there of Leijdekker doing seminars. He's the perfect fit for Fedor at this point. Fundamentals and finding little mistakes or errors in momentum that he can counter. That mixed with his lifetime of training and mastering of explosive escapes and setups gives him the best chance he is going to get to survive or turn things into his favor if he can't get the knockout. I don't know if he can pull this off. It is an enormously tall task for him to take out what might be the best version of Bader we've actually seen. Not at 42. We'll see. Good camp thoughFedor spent half of his camp with Nemkov who just outwrestled and tossed around Phil Davis. Now he's in the second part of his camp in Holland where hes working on his timing with Peter Teijsse who came up with Hoost and coach Vos. Fedors BJJ coach is also in Holland and is a black belt in BJJ under Rickson Gracie and his name is Maxim Leidjekker. Its clear for Fedor in his current age and physical state it's important to train smarter and not harder and he has that around him with the people he trusts.
