Fedor says he would like a rematch with Werdum for his come back. Werdum is to big, to strong, to good too loose to a man thats been out of MMA for three years. But it's freaking Fedor! War TJ, War Rumble, War Shields.
This is not news. Anyway, in my opinion, he should fight Cain. If he beats Cain, he gets some extra exposure for beating what was considered the most athletic heavyweight. If Cain wins, he gets extra credibility for destroying the hardcore fan legend (he already destroyed the casual fan legend Lesnar). They should scrap the Arlovski v Mir fight and give Arlovski Werdum, while Mir fights Rothwell. Those are the money fights $$$$$
Just posted this in another thread, but I'll throw this in here as well for everybody: (Per Facebook)
Have you read the contract? No? Well, signing the contract with the UFC needs to be carefully thought out. If more fighters had the balls to demand special clauses then MMA would be better and fighters would not be owned.
Except he isn't the unique snowflake he once was anymore. Nearly, if not everyone, relevant from his era was willing to work with the UFC. That speaks in and of itself for the ridiculous demands M-1 were notorious for. Having said that, since they're seemingly out of the picture now, there are no excuses for him not to sign with the UFC if he wishes to fight the best. If he goes to Bellator, then him coming out of retirement is nothing more than a quick depressing cash grab against the likes of Kimbo and Lashley.
He was given special clauses in the last contract he refused to sign. Fedor was given every single thing he wanted.
This is a fit Dana would make just to humiliate Fedor and go "see the best are ask UFC!". If he goes to the UFC a good start place would be Mitrione. Hopefully he goes Bellator and starts with Volkov.
