this is not as question of who would win out of the two. i don't know if fedor could handle cain's style. could cain have beaten all the opponents fedor beat? he has never show the versatility or submission ability of fedor, could he have beaten the likes of coleman or randleman in their prime? the only time i can remember him fighting a bigger better wrestler was brock, and brock had problems being hit.

Prime Cro-cop would have been a bit problem for Cain. I could also see a focused Randleman being a tougher match. Prime Nog was tough as shit too.

It's a toss up, Fedor's paper skin wouldn't fair well against Cain's volume GNP. But it's also likely that cain would get KTFO by the faster Fedor while trying to take him down.

They're very similar fighters, but Fedor's speed is what sets him apart.

coleman or kerr would be my pick to give him a run. i don't know if randleman had the size as a wrestler against cain.

Cro Cop and maybe Nog too would give Cain problems. He'd beat Coleman and Randelman in the standup, if he could stop their TDs.

Some guys like Cro Cop, Schilt and Hunt, Cain would have to take down to win.

Coleman or Randleman were not bigger than Cain and both were one dimensional first generation fighters. They both lose to 2-0 UFC debut vs Brad Morris Cain. 2 time UFC champ Cain wouldn't break a sweat. Different era's man.

Cain is #2 all time right now but 2 more defenses and a superfight win v Jones IMO put's him @ #1 all time via superior competition and a comparable championship reign length.

this isn't really the point. is cain capable of getting an armbar from underneath? there is always someone that can outwrestle you.

In his prime... Fedor's speed combined with a matching gas tank to Cain would win him the fight

cain could still be vulnerable to a better wrestle that could take a punch. I would put alexander karelin with five minutes boxing training against cain any day of the weak.

i think some people are missing the the point. should have titled the tread could cain beat all the people fedor defeated.

I think Cro Cop gives Cain problems in a ring specifically PRIDE rules. No cage control, soccer kicks and knees to a ground opponent allowed? fahgettaboutit.
