Fedor is one of the greatest. However, currently he is ranked #48 at heavyweight, and is set to fight the #43 ranked light heavyweight in he world. Clearly this is not Fedor at his career best.

Would you like to see him in the UFC?
As a fan, I have mixed feelings. I would like to watch it, but I fear it would serve to fuel the belief that he is overrated and only ever fought cans.

Now that I think about it, that's stupid. Who cares what people think. He established his legacy long ago.

What do you all think?

Without question.

Haters or Huggers, doesn't really matter there would be enjoyable fights and a big stage.

Works for me.

I'd love to see Fedor in the UFC. Like you said, if it goes horribly wrong it will absolutely fuel people's shitty beliefs, but who cares? Fedor is one of the best to ever do it, and that will never change.

Why not. Give him Bigfoot and sell it like "Fedor wanted this fight; he wants revenge." If he beats him he can fight Mir, Arlovski or Barnett. If Werdum loses to Rothwell you've got another sellable story. Plenty of good fights to make against guys with big names that are neither going up or down.

Agreed. I believe he's the heavyweight goat, and I would be great to see him get in there.

True. Those are respect worthy opponents he could likely hang with.

Anyone who would judge his legacy based upon what he does as a post-retirement, far-past-prime 40 year old isn't worth paying attention to.

That being said, there's little point in him going to the UFC. His prime was many years ago, and he's obviously not at the point where he's trying to be the best. If he did go to the UFC, I'd obviously watch. But I don't have any burning desire to see it. We've already seen the best of Fedor. Fighting in the UFC doesn't equate to validation.

I'm not going to lie, I would watch but he wouldn't be relevant.

I'd love to see Fedor in the UFC and I honestly think it's pretty close to happening the way they're promoting him atm

I think he could be competitive with the older guys in the top 10, isn't a stretch I dont think to say he could beat Roy, Barnett, Hunt, Browne and Arlovski, even Werdum if he has another night/brain fart like he did against Stipe

would not like to see him fight JDS or Cain or Stipe

Agreed. Fighting against the old guys in the top 10-15 is the way to go.

The Arlovski rematch would be amazing. I could hardly believe I was watching them fight the first time. Would love the Barnett fight too. Any of the fights you mentioned would be awesome. Werdum might be too much for him at this point though.

Ah Fedor Arlovski was before my time I started watching in 2009, never got to see Fedor at the height of his powers it is genuinely exciting to me just to see him fight now regardless of who he fights
