I think a lot of people tend to forget this,

He hasn't fought in 3 years. No one is immune to ring rust. He needs a tune up fight. Give him Struve.

And what are you implying TS? That people are counting him out? That he's going to be the champ? What is your actual point here bud?

 yeah, Fedor crushed some cans to get some wins before he retired.

He has a shot against werdum, but I think cain is a horrible match up for fedor and would destroy him

Why? Fedor has better striking, a strong clinch game, better grappling and better submissions.

Yeah, but against weak competition. I love Fedor to death but let's be real here...

I'm always excited for a Fedor fight, but his previous retirement was preceeded by three of the easiest fights he could line up. He took out dinosaur Rizzo, Monson and beyond shot Sylvia.

There's a reason he didn't try to transition to UFC before retiring. He wanted to go out on some easy wins and he did that.

Now that he's supposedly signed with the UFC we'll see if he's back to old form or not. I firmly believe that an in shape and focused Fedor is still a very real threat to anyone in the UFC.

If he comes back in Strikeforce shape he's going to get mauled.

Way worse clinch, and grappling. Not normally an mma math guy but one guy out grappled Bigfoot to a bloody pool slip and slide. The other got his eye turned into a vagina grappling big foot.

Btw Cain is my least favorite fighter and I hate the UFC has some sort of hard on for a dude that has only beat 2 men to defend his title, yet is treated like an Anderson Silva, or GSP when it comes to rematches and title shots.

I don't think he should get a title shot or a fight against a top 5 guy right away. I'd say give him Browne or Schaub and then when he shakes off all that ring rust give him a title shot.
