Fedor defended the UFC belt longer than any UFC Heavyweight

The Lineal one.

Love Fedor but no.

The UFC belt wasn't the lineal belt the whole time, is the point. The video basically impies the Pride HW belt was the lineal belt when Fedor reigned (until Werdum beat him in Strikeforce) while the UFC belt was considered 2nd tier. I don't necessarily disagree with that assessment.

Fedor won 18 straight fights in the span of 7 years after becoming world Heavyweight champion.

With wins over Mirko, Nog, AA, Hunt, Sylvia, Coleman, Randleman, Lindland,Goodridge, and Fujita in that span without losing.

That's more wins without a loss after becoming champion than any HW ever. 18 straight winns.

Stipe about to break that record

Lmao just shows you the state of HW and that it's always been the weakest division.

Fedor destroyed 5 UFC Champions. All inside the 1st round.

LMAO.

Remember when Werdum beat Cain pillar to post and choked him out to become champ? Then stipe humiliated Werdum to become champ? I don't even like stipe but come on. If Cain was forced out injuries alone and not a absolute beat down I'd probably agree. But Cain looked every bit like a shot fighter when he got his title ripped from him. He's. No longer the gold standard at HW

Dont be a hater son. Look up the effects of being unprepared to compete at altitude. Then come back with something sensible. Props to cain for not making excuses even though it killed him.

People's admiration of Fedor cracks me up. At the time he was the best HW sure, but when he had the chance to move over and face people like Randy (a LHW), Brock or anyone on the UFC once Pride was gone, he decided against it and fought circus fights or lost to Hendo, Verdum and so on.

I can't stand GOAT conversations but Fedor is one of the best ever sure, but his lack of UFC fights does hurt his standings.

True. Ppl don't remember what a monster Big Nog was in PRIDE, he seemed indestructible... and the Fedor beat him TWICE.

Also, Werdum was always legit and a huge threat to anyone, glad the video reminds us of this.

Fedor is the GOAT IMHO, with GSP in close second. I don't care to convince anyone to this point of view, everyone is entitled to theirs, but this is just what I think after 20 years of watching MMA.
