Since Velasquez vs Lesnar I watched every single event including prelims, not a single fight missed.

Since about January this year I been watching only titled events, and since May I been missing out everything. Just to watch on youtube finishes in titled fights. Thats it.

Next stop probably Mcgoat fight.

Gsp bisping is the only card I’ve watched in its entirely in at least 3 maybe 4 years.

Basically, UFC can only up the ante so much before fan fatigue starts kicking in.
They do big shows with the Conors but that makes all the other cards ( even stacked cards) feel meh if there isn’t a huge deal made about them by the UFC.

To your point, yes some cards are crap..because they put only new guys instead of mixing them with the vets to balance it out

Without gambling UFC would lose half its viewers. Real sports do not mention odds or gambling, Anik does 15x a fight. So no, without gambling I wouldn't watch 80 percent of the fights nor support this company anymore. But its free money. Want to make Hill vs Casey really fucking exciting, put 5k on one of them. That is virtually the only way that fight is watchable.

yeah I noticed that, you get the feeling that some broadcasters are putting in the money on fights so that they can stay excited.

It's tough to be that way with any sport.

I used to wake up and watch 2 hours of NFL pregame shows as I setup my fantasy football lineup and put in all my bets. I'd then watch all the 1pm and 4pm games, Then the Sunday night game. Had NFL Redzone on in the background to make sure I didn't miss anything important in the other games. Last year I only watched the superbowl.

I wasn't even doing anything particular of interest last night and I usually watch every card. It didn't even cross my mind to turn it on and it was free. I normally watch every card but lately, it's just not the same. I hate to admit it but I liked it better before USADA as no other sport has to go through this rigorous testing and this is a PHYSICAL sport unlike any other, dropouts are through the roof too. I also wish WMMA had their own cards, no other combat sport feeds you both. WME has ruined the UFC with all the interim belts and shenanigans and it just seems like a slightly illegitimate sport to me now. Title shots are popularity contests unless you're a killer on a long streak and simply can't be denied.

I used to try to watch everything. I’d even go to local regional shows. The wmma talent level is below those shows. That will never change, because women are not men.

I get why they want to add wmma. They can pay the “fighters” next to nothing. It makes SJWs happy. They think it doubles their potential audience by appealing to women.

My wife and some other women I’ve watched with will watch, because men are watching it with them. They seem to enjoy it, but they are never going to go out and order a ppv on their own. Trying to cater to them is just stupid. They want to watch big, strong men fight anyways. They don’t give a shit about technique.

It is kind of like when people try to petition against a video game. Those people aren’t going to give you their money even if you cave to their demands. Why water down the product for people that will actually give you money?

Imagine if they tried to crowbar in WNBA into an NBA game. It has been around over 20 years now. Has the quality of it improved? No, it reached a ceiling and they will never be as good as men. Same thing goes with wmma. Accept that the sexes are different.

Here is one of the premiere strikers in wmma. Name one person that enjoys watching this.



It is like watching bum fights. Sure, it was funny the first few that you saw, but then it just became sad. And, it sure as fuck wasn’t added to UFC ppv.

I'm not fed up with the UFC at all. I like MMA and for the most part they give us the fights we want to see. More so than boxing anyway. That being said I've missed the last several cards. Not because I'm fed up, but because it's the summer and there has been other shit to do on Saturday nights.

I used to find the replays online when this would happen, but I find myself more and more just reading the results. It's not the same as watching them live imo. I plan on watching the Woodley vs Till Card, but I've been saying this and keep missing them. The last card I watched was the Whittaker vs Romero card back in June.
