Crime FBI serves search warrant on Sen. Richard Burr

Of course they did. Another day, another republican breaking the law. It’s almost like criminal behavior is inbred into them

Given the FBI's need to falsify warrant applications because they didn't have enough legit reason for them and the FBI's need to set up perjury traps when investigations turn up nothing derogatory, I'd say it's clear you've got the cart ahead of the horse here.

Ya, I’m sure with all the heat on them the FBI is just going to continue to falsify documents. Doubtful

Like opening up the Clinton investigation a week before the election.

I think that is an excellent example of what I am talking about. What makes it worse is that the timing was not based on when the FBI got the information. They could have given that same press conference three weeks or more earlier, giving Clinton's campaign more time to work with.

This is a strange take.

There is very little heat on the FBI. Their malfeasance hasn't been a huge story in the media. There have been very few consequences for breaking the rules. All the lefty bootlickers in the media are falling all over themselves spinning away the abuses of power to protect the FBI from any heat. Because Donald Trump threatens the rule of law.

Let's take an easy example. An unnamed FBI agent directly lied on one of the initial FISA warrant applications. We haven't been given his/her name and we haven't been told that agent has been punished. When people are caught breaking rules and aren't punished, they are emboldened rather than becoming more cautious.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, one FBI lawyer altering an email to flip Carter Page's history as a CIA informant to get a third FISA renewal application does not a giant Deep State conspiracy make. And Flynn pleaded guilty in front of two different judges, whoops.

Shall we compare that with a personal lawyer, a campaign chairman, and two campaign advisors (and maybe a national security advisor still) that all got real prison time? All good people, I'm sure.

some people like to ignore historical facts when a new shiny object pops up that isn’t fact, yet but supports their need to justify their reasoning for backing an administration that has been anything but honest.

February? Any idiot online paying attention to what was happening in China could have realized what was going to happen by then.

Trump: ‘We have it totally under control’

While attending the Davos conference in Switzerland, Trump makes his first public comment about coronavirus. “We have it totally under control,” he tells the US cable channel CNBC. “It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.”

‘They aren’t taking this seriously’

After a coronavirus briefing with White House officials, senators express concern that the administration is downplaying the threat. “No request for ANY emergency funding,” notes Democrat Chris Murphy of Connecticut.

While Burr was publickly downplaying the impact of the virus, in private to a select group of people, he was sounding an ominous tone.

weird because the reality is the exact opposite. All Fox News wants to talk about is how corrupt the FBI we’re in obtaining FISA warrants and all the nonsense between those 2 fbi lovers. There is a lot of heat on the FBI but we know how this story goes. If FBI investigates Republicans, bad and corrupt. If they investigate Democrats (which doesn’t happen often because Dems aren’t criminals like Republicans) Its a legit investigation

Nothing will happen to him with the partisan DOJ we have.

FOX News is one media outlet. If they are putting heat on the FBI then that's a credit to them and a reason to prefer them to other networks. Mainly the story is being ignored or downplayed by media outlets.

If the FBI can investigate Republicans without falsifying warrant requests, trying to get people fired, or entrapment, I'm all for it. We all know plenty of Republicans are crooks.

Yeah, weird. It's almost if at the end of the day, some folks aren't really interested in making good faith arguments.
