What are your favorite 'fighting styles' in MMA currently?

Grapplers who prefer positional dominance rather than submissions with the intention of minimizing risk/damage

Strikers that use footwork to evade strikes and counter only when an opening is given, but are capable submission artists

Wild strikers that prefer to use a vicious bottom game rather than focus on defending takedowns

Wrestle-boxers that like to stay on the feet, although lacking in technique, but also with the capability to taking an opponent down

Grapplers that intend on hitting a submission at any opportunity once it hits the mat and solely rely on landing a submission to win a fight

Strikers that throw heavy leather and focus on defending takedowns at all costs rather than working submissions or sweeps from the bottom

Fighters are generally 'good' in all areas, but do not exceed in one particular aspect of fighting

Or a fighter that is so good in one area, they can be completely dominant

    sorry for edits, beend rinking

I don't have a favorite style per se, but I do tend to enjoy someone who is a real expert in one area rather than pretty good in all areas (I.e. Ronda Rousey, Khabib).

I love Muay Thai and jiu jitsu. Judo is beautiful as well but there just aren't that many high level practitioners in MMA.

Cruikshank, Stephens, Machida (well lately he's kinda sucked)

    Lombard and Rousey's Judo

    Mighty Mouse's technique and speed

Brown/Diaz's volume striking is always fun to watch

Anybody who goes out there and fights without a feeling out process.

I favor the Mua Thai BJJ combo. Even though in the Octagon this style has had mixed success and wrestling seems to get the better of this style....I will always favour this combination.

I'm just a massive grappling fan. Be it Shields or Rousey. I enjoy it all.

How does knocking out Munoz with a first round headkick and getting a clear unanimous decision against Mousasi mean he has kind of sucked lately? He's 2-0 now at MW and is fighting for the title.

What does "lately" encompass for you?

I like grapplers who are excellent guard passes and dive on submissions. Or grapplers with dangerous guards.

Strikers who have excellent footwork to evade take downs and counter strike.

Explosive strikers who have learnt how to hit the sprawl and defend take downs from excellent wrestlers. ie: Lombard and Johnson

Rangy and accurate striking with taekwondo/point-fighting kicks and decent KO power, good grappling even out of his back.

e.g. I like Pettis, Khalidov, a bit Mousasi too despite isn't totally into the description above.

Redhawks, your posts absolutely suck, and anyone not mentally challenged on this forum knows it.
