Felt like if I just did #1 fave it would pretty much be just SF, MK, Tekken, and Smash (gonna include it here even though not everyone thinks it belongs), so curious what everyone's top 3 is.

SoulCalibur is easily my favorite, followed by maybe DoA or Smash. Really like the extra dimension and movement that 3D fighters bring and I find SC and DoA generally more fun than Tekken or VF, and Smash is fun to play at parties because just about everyone plays and it is rather simple to pick up.

i'm a fatal fury guy myself, but king of fighters was basically the best of SNK and i loved it.

gameplay wise street fighter, visuals and ost MVC2 is the best

Used to play KOF 2002 at the arcade but Tekken is always my go to play at home since everyone from nerds to jocks know how to at least play the game compared to other franchises.

I really enjoy injustice. Had some good times playing w friends on that one

Overall, it's probably Street Fighter, but Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution is my #1 fighting game. It's amazing that a 17 year old game has a training and a tutorial mode that's better than the games out today!

No Eternal Champions? Trash poll.

Project Justice might be my favorite single fighting game.. then either Virtua Fighter or SF is my favorite series.

I'm hoping VF isn't dead.

Tekken was always my fav. Also really like Soul Blade and Street Fighter.

Street Fighter is usually the most fun for me (particularly the Alpha games). When i'm feeling like playing a 3D one Virtua Fighter is my preferred fighting game. Quite frankly though, i'll play any fighting game i can get my my paws on. I'm kinda addicted to them, so i don't give a fuck.

Tekken easily. It's the one with the most staying power for me. MK11 was fun for a few weeks but it's just so shallow compared to a Tekken or Guilty Gear.

Tekken
The martial arts styles and moves are more realistic in that game than in the others (at least the others that I've played). You can actually learn some real martial art techniques from playing it.

I'm old enough to remember when MK first came out. Seeing crowds of people gathered around it waiting on their turns. That game was mind blowing when it first hit. But I think Tekken is more realistic and more fun to play overall.

Street Fighter destroying in this poll. Good it's the best one out of all of them.

Most of them, yes, but it's definitely not more realistic than Virtua Fighter. There's no goofy shit like Lucky, Alisa, Alex, Lili, Jack, etc.

I did like the DBZ tourney fighting games from Mega Drive, Super Famicom, and PS2. Never tried PS3 and PS4 yet.

Loved Tekken since 3. The new Mk games are awesome too but im loyal to Tekken
