i have been a mma fan for a long time now but was never that interested in boxing and now i want to try to, could you guys post some of your favorite fights?
 
Ok everyone I listed is extrememly relevant in todays game. No means a complete list. Just some of my favorite fighters to watch. In order to truly grasp who is who you just gotta start watching HBO and SHowtime. The next 3 months are stacked.

This fight brought Maidana onto the big stage.



Another good maidana fight.



Here are some highlights of the more relevant fighters today (im biased and picked my favorites). Not all just a decent few.











Here are some all around 2012 highlights to get you set up for this year.

Well there has been a lot of great fights. I can't say I have a favorite but I'd say recently Bradley vs Provodnikov and Rios vs Alvarado 2 were amazing fights.

Hagler Hearns is pretty much the Frye-Takayama of boxing, check that out. And thank to those who've posted vids, looking forward to checking out this thread's vids throughout the week!
 
Lol at cazadores doing an awesome post and everyone quoting it. Didn't help my loading speed. Nice videos too tex.

Although it was very entertaining...the Frye Takayama fight wasn't really an MMA fight...it was just a glorified brawl absent of any real skill...


I would say, Wanderlei vs Stann would be more of an appropriate analogy to Hagler hearns, ...
