One of my favorite childhood movies is one not a lot of people remember. It was a cartoon called The Point, it had quite a trippy style and great songs.

    How about y’all?

    Undoubtedly Star Wars.
And I ain't talking no "New Hope" shit. It was just Star Wars when I lined up to see it and was blown the fuck away.

Even though the keying against the black space backgrounds was pretty jarring.

It's a shame that what was once a fun space adventure became a bloated franchise that keeps reaching for that old magic and failing.

ETA it's bullshit that they haven't released the original, non-"special" CGI filled garbage.

Braindead. I think it's called something different in US, but it's one of the first movies made by Peter Jackson. Perfect movie for a lil' guy...

    Me and my Arrow!!!

All the songs were written by Harry Nilsson, who is an underrated genius.

I watched the Secret of Nimh probably 100 times as a kid. I had no idea what was going on and was a little bit scared of everything.

The goonies and the lost boys also usually hate musicals but I loved Bugsy Malone when I was a kid
