Most Boxing movies are Dramas...

For a change of pace, here's a pretty good Boxing movie that's a Rom-Com... well more like an Indie Com-Rom (more Comedy than Romance, but very Indie). If you're an Adam Carolla fan, then I'm sure you've watched it and liked it... but even if you're not a fan, the movie is still pretty good. It's cutesy, but not in a bad way.

The Hammer (2007)

Not a 'Feature film,' but rather a multi-part Documentary...

Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson (2005; PBS)

I enjoyed how in The Fighter the viewer felt like it was a live boxing event. Usually in other movies the matches being too cheesy just loses my appeal.

It's hard for me to pick among most of the Rocky series, Cinderella Man and The Fighter.

Asshole. I can't choose.

Cinderella Man, Rocky, The Fighter, Creed, and Raging Bull, in that order.

Ragging Bull
Million dollar baby
The fighter
Rocky 3
Rocky 4
Cinderella man
The great white hype
Gladiator
Rocky 1
Ricky 2 in order

The Great White Hype. Shit was made for real Boxing fans.

1. Rocky
2. Raging Bull
3. Million Dollar Baby
4. Cinderella Man
5. Ali

I think out of all of those, Ali had the best actual boxing scenes. It's more clearly "movie boxing" in the others.

Ricky 2 in order

There is a fucking sequel to Ricky 1!? Wow that's just... glorious.
